Our Commitment to the SDGs
As Bangladesh’s first public university, the University of Dhaka (DU) has been a
cornerstone in nation-building and public policy formulation. Nearly 60% of the
country’s civil servants are DU alumni, and its graduates contribute significantly to
national and multinational projects worldwide. DU’s strategic vision, mission, and
objectives align closely with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), underscoring its
commitment to creating a sustainable future for the next generation.
To document and showcase its SDG-related efforts, the university is developing a dedicated website that will serve as a centralized platform for information and initiatives.
