SDG 4 (Quality Education)

*   Dhaka University Day was celebrated through a day-long colorful program. On this occasion, at 9:15 AM, teachers, students, officers, and employees gathered at the Smriti Chironton Chottor from all university halls, hostels, and administrative buildings in a procession. From there, a colorful procession was led through the campus by the Vice-Chancellor at 9:45 AM. At 10:00 AM, the national flag and the flags of the university and its halls were hoisted, and a cake was cut at the inaugural ceremony in front of the Teacher-Student Center (TSC) at Pigeon Square. At this time, the national anthem and inspiring patriotic songs were performed with the participation of teachers and students from the Department of Music. Additionally, another musical performance was presented with the participation of international students. Later, a discussion titled 'Dhaka University in Building a Discrimination-Free and Inclusive Society' was held at the TSC auditorium. On the occasion of the day, illuminations were placed at the Vice-Chancellor's building, Curzon Hall, the Arts Building, TSC, and other important structures and roads. On this occasion, a special seminar was organized by the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
*   A day-long international conference titled “STEM Education: Innovation, Integration and Impact” was held on the initiative of the Dhaka University Institute of Education and Research. The Vice-Chancellor was present as the Chief Guest at the event. Among others, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, the Director of the Institute of Education and Research, and the Chairman of the conference organizing committee were present.
*   The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka discussed with a representative delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Dhaka regarding the feasibility of adopting a development project on Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy, Fintech, Environment, and Science and Technology with financial and technical assistance from JICA, aimed at enhancing the skills and capacities of young teachers and students. The Treasurer of the University of Dhaka was present at this time.
*   A day-long 'Skill Development Workshop' for the students of the university was held on the initiative of the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS). The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) inaugurated the workshop as the Chief Guest.
*   A seminar titled 'The July Upsurge and the Trajectory of Education in Bangladesh; Expectations, Achievements, and the Days Ahead' was held at the Institute of Education and Research under the initiative of Elevate Talk.

 

SDG 5 (Gender Equality)

*   For the first time, an emergency financial assistance program has been launched for the students of five female halls of residence at the University of Dhaka. Under this program, 583 female students will receive financial assistance of three thousand taka per month. In a ceremony at the Vice-Chancellor's office, the assistance money was symbolically handed over to 10 students from various halls. Chaired by the Treasurer, the ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor and the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration).
*   The Vice-Chancellor announced that every year on July 14 will be observed as 'Women Students' Day' in recognition of the extraordinary role of female students in the uprising.
*   A day-long program was organized at Rokeya Hall on July 14, 2025, to remember and recognize the courage and contribution of female students in the July revolution. From 2:00 PM on July 14, a photo exhibition of the July revolution was held at the Shapla TV Room. Two students of Rokeya Hall, who were seriously injured in the July movement and are on the government list, Sanjida Ahmed Tanvi and Cynthia Mehreen Sakal, were awarded crests, certificates, and financial grants. A cultural program titled "In Memory of the Rebellious and Revolutionary July 14, 2024: Exhibition, Debate, Recollection, and Honoring" was organized. An exhibition of writings titled "The Women of Rokeya Hall in July," featuring the recollections of various students of Rokeya Hall about July, was organized by the Rokeya Hall Literary Society.

 

SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being)

*   A two-day training workshop on basic and primary first aid was held on the joint initiative of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and the Dhaka University Youth Red Crescent (RCY). The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) inaugurated the workshop as the Chief Guest.
*   A awareness-raising workshop titled “Creating a Safe Campus: Combating Bullying at the University of Dhaka” was held on the initiative of the Dhaka University Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), with the spontaneous participation of teachers and students from all university institutes/departments, aiming to raise awareness on Anti-Bullying and create a safe environment for students. The Director of IQAC presented the keynote paper at the workshop.
*   Free medical services and health check-ups for students were organized at Sufia Kamal Hall by experienced doctors. A seminar on self-breast cancer paste was organized for students. An awareness campaign was organized.
*   A seminar titled 'Reflecting on Providing Mental Health Support Services for July survivors from July 2024 to July 2025' was organized on the initiative of the Department of Clinical Psychology.

 

SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)

*   Five meritorious students from various departments of the University of Dhaka have received scholarships from the 'Surochi Bala Pal Trust Fund'. The Vice-Chancellor handed over the scholarship cheques to the students as the Chief Guest at a ceremony.
*   The hall administration has donated 20 lakh taka to increase the capital of the Amar Ekushey Hall Trust Fund. This money was collected from the hall's internal sources... The interest from the deposited capital of the Trust Fund is used to provide scholarships to meritorious students of the hall every year.
*   Seven students from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dhaka have been awarded scholarships from the 'Professor Dr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman Trust Fund' for their extraordinary academic success. The Vice-Chancellor handed over the scholarship cheques to the students as the Chief Guest.
*   Eleven students from the Department of Statistics and the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), who secured first place in the Masters examinations from 2017 to 2023, have received the 'Kazi Motahar Hossain' medal. ...Scholarships were awarded to 13 students who secured first place in the B.S. Honours examinations.

### **SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)**

*   The Vice-Chancellor said that the University of Dhaka's Further Development Project is the largest academic initiative in recent times. A press conference was organized to present the details of the University of Dhaka's Further Development Project, estimated at about Tk. 2,841 crore... The five-year project work will start in July 2025 and be completed by June 2030. Under this project: **6 academic buildings will be constructed, **4 residential halls for 2600 female students will be constructed, **5 residential halls for 5100 male students will be constructed, ... **5 other buildings (including an administrative building) will be constructed, ... **1 playground will be developed, **2 public toilets will be constructed, and **Drainage system and waste management (256 waste bins) will be implemented.
*   The implementation of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Hall project for female students of the University of Dhaka, with an estimated cost of Tk. 244 crore with financial assistance from the Chinese government, is progressing. ...Upon implementation of this project, accommodation for 1,500 female students will be arranged.

 

SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)

*   A request has been made to take necessary precautionary measures to prevent and control the intrusion of unwanted and unknown individuals in the university's residential areas and for the overall security of the university family.
*   The Vice-Chancellor sought cooperation from all concerned, including teachers, students, officers, and employees, to ensure overall security on the university campus.
*   To prevent unpleasant incidents on the Dhaka University campus and for the overall security of the university, the pocket gates of all residential halls will remain closed from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The university authorities have taken this decision to strengthen campus security.
*   Under the supervision of the hall's environment club, a program has started for pest control in the hall's building toilets, kitchens, verandas, and stairs. Regular mosquito eradication and larvae-killing insecticide spraying, as well as proper pruning of the hall's garden weeds and trees, are ongoing.
*   A television provided by the Vice-Chancellor has been installed for the students of the Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall. Various problems in the bathrooms and shower rooms of different blocks of the hall have been resolved. Cleaning supplies have been purchased to maintain the cleanliness of the hall.

 

SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions)

*   As part of the preparations for the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Hall Union Elections-2025, the Returning Officers met with various social and cultural organizations of the university. The representatives of the organizations participated in the meeting and gave opinions on various matters concerning election preparation, administrative cooperation, security arrangements, and the voting process. They advised on the necessary steps to ensure a fair and peaceful election environment. The Returning Officers assured that they would consider their recommendations seriously and take necessary steps.
*   A meeting of the Returning Officers formed on the occasion of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Hall Union Elections 2025 was held. ...In the meeting, the Returning Officers reviewed the opinions and recommendations received from various stakeholders to complete the DUCSU election process smoothly. Based on these reviews, it was decided to present a proposal to the university administration.
*   The Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Hall Union elections will be held on September 9. The Chief Returning Officer announced the election schedule at a press conference.

 

SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)

*   The Vice-Chancellor exchanged views with the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka on further strengthening the ongoing joint collaborative education and research activities between the University of Dhaka and various Chinese universities, and on undertaking more joint collaborative activities related to education and research between the two universities.
*   A meeting was held between the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka and the Vice-Chancellor of the Bangladesh Maritime University regarding enhancing mutual cooperation for the improvement of education and research activities and conducting joint collaborative education and research activities.
*   Discussions were held between the Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan stationed in Bangladesh and the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Dhaka on expanding joint education and research activities between the University of Dhaka and various higher education institutions of Pakistan.
*   Discussions were held between the Vice-Chancellor of the university and Professor Dr. Naonori Kusakabe of Rikkyo University, Japan, and Sone Keita, Advisor of the Political Section of the Japanese Embassy in Dhaka, on further strengthening the ongoing joint collaborative education and research activities between the University of Dhaka and various Japanese universities, including Rikkyo University.
*   Discussions were held between the Country Director of the British Council and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka on various issues, including strengthening the ongoing joint collaborative education programs between the University of Dhaka and the British Council through dialogue and strategic planning.

SDG 4 (Quality Education)

• দিনব্যাপী বর্ণাঢ্য কর্মসূচির মধ্য দিয়ে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় দিবস উদ্যাপিত হয়েছে। এ উপলক্ষ্যে সকাল সাড়ে ৯টায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল হল, হোস্টেল ও প্রশাসনিক ভবন থেকে শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী, কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ শোভাযাত্রা সহকারে স্মৃতি চিরন্তন চত্বরে সমবেত হন। সেখান থেকে সকাল ৯টা ৪৫ মিনিটে উপাচার্যের নেতৃত্বে ক্যাম্পাসে বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রা বের করা হয়। সকাল ১০টায় ছাত্র-শিক্ষক কেন্দ্রের সম্মুখস্থ পায়রা চত্বরে উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে জাতীয় পতাকা, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও হলসমূহের পতাকা উত্তোলন এবং কেক কাটা হয়। এসময় সংগীত বিভাগের শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে জাতীয় সংগীত ও উদ্দীপনামূলক দেশাত্মবোধক গান পরিবেশিত হয়। এছাড়া, বিদেশি শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে অন্য একটি সংগীত পরিবেশিত হয়। পরে ছাত্র-শিক্ষক কেন্দ্র মিলনায়তনে ‘বৈষম্যহীন ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক সমাজ বিনির্মাণে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়’ শীর্ষক এক আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। দিবসটি উদ্যাপন উপলক্ষ্যে উপাচার্য ভবন, কার্জন হল, কলা ভবন ও ছাত্র-শিক্ষক কেন্দ্রসহ বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনা ও সড়কসমূহে আলোকসজ্জা করা হয়। এ উপলক্ষ্যে আর্থ এন্ড এনভায়রনমেন্টাল সায়েন্সেস অনুষদের উদ্যোগে এক বিশেষ সেমিনার আয়োজন করা হয়।

•  ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট-এর উদ্যোগে “STEM Education: Innovation, Integration and Impact” শীর্ষক দিনব্যাপী এক আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উপাচার্য অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এসময় অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন, শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউটের পরিচালক এবং সম্মেলন আয়োজক কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

• তরুণ শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন ও সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে জাইকার আর্থিক ও কারিগরি সহায়তায় কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা, নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি, ফিনটেক, পরিবেশ এবং বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিষয়ক একটি উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প গ্রহণের সম্ভাব্যতা নিয়ে ঢাকাস্থ জাপান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কো-অপারেশন এজেন্সি (জাইকা) প্রতিনিধিদলের সঙ্গে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্যের আলোচনা হয়েছে। এসময় ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কোষাধ্যক্ষ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গবেষণা সংসদ (ডিইউআরএস)-এর উদ্যোগে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য দিনব্যাপী এক ‘দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন কর্মশালা’ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রো-ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (প্রশাসন) প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে এই কর্মশালা উদ্বোধন করেন।

• শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা ইনস্টিউটে এলিভেট টকের উদ্যোগে ‘বাংলাদেশে জুলাই অভ্যুত্থান ও শিক্ষার গতিপথ; প্রত্যাশা অর্জন ও আগামী দিন’ শীর্ষক সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

SDG 5 (Gender Equality)

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পাঁচটি ছাত্রী হলের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য প্রথমবারের মতো আপৎকালীন আর্থিক সহায়তা কর্মসূচি চালু করা হয়েছে। এই কর্মসূচির আওতায় ৫৮৩জন ছাত্রী প্রতি মাসে তিন হাজার টাকা করে আর্থিক সহায়তা পাবেন। উপাচার্যের সভাকক্ষে এক অনুষ্ঠানে প্রতীকীভাবে বিভিন্ন হলের ১০ জন ছাত্রীকে এই সহায়তার টাকা হস্তান্তর করা হয়। কোষাধ্যক্ষের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে উপাচার্য, প্রো-ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (প্রশাসন) উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

• উপাচার্য অভ্যুত্থানে নারী শিক্ষার্থীদের অসামান্য ভূমিকার স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ প্রতি বছর ১৪ জুলাই ‘নারী শিক্ষার্থী দিবস’ পালন করার ঘোষণা দেন।

•  জুলাই বিপ্লবে নারী শিক্ষার্থীদের সাহসিকতা ও অবদানকে স্মরণ ও স্বীকৃতি প্রদানের উদ্দেশ্যে ১৪ জুলাই ২০২৫ রোকেয়া হলে দিনব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। ১৪ জুলাই বেলা ২টা থেকে শাপলা টিভি রুমে জুলাই বিপ্লবের বিভিন্ন আলোকচিত্র প্রদর্শনী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। জুলাই আন্দোলনে গুরুতর আহত, সরকারি তালিকাভুক্ত রোকেয়া হলের ২জন শিক্ষার্থী- সানজিদা আহমেদ তন্বী ও সিনথিয়া মেহরীন সকাল-কে ক্রেস্ট, সনদপত্র ও আর্থিক অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়। “বিদ্রোহ ও বিপ্লবের ১৪ জুলাই ২০২৪ স্মরণে: প্রদর্শনী, বিতর্ক, স্মৃতিচারণ ও সম্মাননা প্রদান” শীর্ষক সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়। “জুলাইয়ের রোকেয়ারা” শিরোনামে রোকেয়া হল সাহিত্য সংসদের উদ্যোগে রোকেয়া হলের বিভিন্ন শিক্ষার্থীর জুলাই স্মৃতিচারণমূলক লেখাগুলোর একটি প্রদর্শনী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being)

• বাংলাদেশ রেড ক্রিসেন্ট সোসাইটি এবং ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় যুব রেড ক্রিসেন্ট (আরসিওয়াই)-এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে মৌলিক ও প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা বিষয়ক দু’দিনব্যাপী প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রো-ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (শিক্ষা) প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে এই কর্মশালার উদ্বোধন করেন।

•  ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ইনস্টিটিউশনাল কোয়ালিটি অ্যাস্যুরেন্স সেল (IQAC) এর উদ্যোগে Anti-Bullying বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি ও শিক্ষার্থীদের নিরাপদ পরিবেশ তৈরির লক্ষ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল ইনস্টিটিউট/বিভাগের শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণে “Creating a Safe Campus: Combating Bullying at the University of Dhaka” শীর্ষক একটি সচেতনতামূলক কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। কর্মশালায় মূল প্রবন্ধ উপস্থাপন করেন আইকিউএসি’র পরিচালক।

• ১৯। অভিজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক দ্বারা কবি সুফিয়া কামাল হলে শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা সেবা ও স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার আয়োজন করা হয়।... শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে সেল্ফ ব্রেস্ট ক্যান্সার পেস্ট বিষয়ক সেমিনার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। সচেতনতা বিষয়ক ক্যাম্পেইন আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

•  ক্লিনিক্যাল সাইকোলজি বিভাগের উদ্যোগে ‘Reflecting on Providing Mental Health Support Services for July survivors from July 2024 to July 2025’ শীর্ষক একটি সেমিনার আয়োজন করা হয়।

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন বিভাগের ৫জন মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থী ‘সুরুচী বালা পাল ট্রাস্ট ফান্ড’ বৃত্তি লাভ করেছেন। উপাচার্য এক অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে বৃত্তির চেক তুলে দেন।

• অমর একুশে হল ট্রাস্ট ফান্ডের মূলধন বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে ২০ লক্ষ টাকা অনুদান দিয়েছে হল প্রশাসন। হলের অভ্যন্তরীণ উৎস থেকে এই অর্থ সংগ্রহ করা হয়।... ট্রাস্ট ফান্ডের গচ্ছিত মূলধনের লভ্যাংশ থেকে প্রতি বছর হলের মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের বৃত্তি প্রদান করা হয়ে থাকে।

• পড়াশোনায় অসাধারণ সাফল্যের জন্য ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গণিত বিভাগের ৭ জন শিক্ষার্থীকে ‘অধ্যাপক ড. মো. মোখলেসুর রহমান ট্রাস্ট ফান্ড’ বৃত্তি প্রদান করা হয়েছে। উপাচার্য প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে বৃত্তির চেক তুলে দেন।

• পরিসংখ্যান বিভাগ এবং পরিসংখ্যান গবেষণা ও শিক্ষণ ইনস্টিটিউটের (আইএসআরটি) ২০১৭ সাল থেকে ২০২৩ সাল পর্যন্ত মাস্টার্স পরীক্ষায় ১ম স্থান অর্জনকারী ১১ জন শিক্ষার্থী ‘কাজী মোতাহার হোসেন’ পদক লাভ করেছেন।... বিএস সম্মান পরীক্ষায় প্রথম স্থান অধিকারী ১৩জন শিক্ষার্থীকে বৃত্তি প্রদান করা হয়।

SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)

• উপাচার্য বলেছেন, ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিকতর উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পটি সাম্প্রতিককালের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় একাডেমিক উদ্যোগ।প্রায় ২ হাজার ৮৪১ কোটি টাকার ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিকতর উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পটির বিস্তারিত তথ্য তুলে ধরতে সংবাদ সম্মেলনটির আয়োজন করা হয়।... ০৫ বছর মেয়াদি প্রকল্পের কাজ জুলাই ২০২৫ থেকে শুরু করে জুন ২০৩০ এর মধ্যে শেষ হবে। এই প্রকল্পের অধীনে: ** ৬টি একাডেমিক ভবন নির্মাণ, ** ২৬০০ জন ছাত্রীর জন্য ৪টি আবাসিক হল নির্মাণ, ** ৫১০০ জন ছাত্রের জন্য ৫টি আবাসিক হল নির্মাণ, ... ** ৫টি অন্যান্য ভবন (প্রশাসনিক ভবনসহ) নির্মাণ, ... ** খেলার মাঠ উন্নয়ন ১টি, ** পাবলিক টয়লেট নির্মাণ ২টি এবং ** ড্রেনেজ সিস্টেম ও ওয়েস্ট ম্যানেজমেন্ট (ওয়েস্টবিন-২৫৬টি) করা হবে।

• চীন সরকারের আর্থিক সহযোগিতায় ২শ’ ৪৪ কোটি টাকা প্রাক্কলিত ব্যয়ে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রীদের জন্য বাংলাদেশ-চীন মৈত্রী হল নির্মাণ প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের কাজ এগিয়ে চলেছে।... এ প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়িত হলে ১ হাজার ৫শ’ ছাত্রীর আবাসনের ব্যবস্থা হবে।

SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)

• বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আবাসিক এলাকায় অবাঞ্চিত ও অপরিচিত ব্যক্তিবর্গের অনুপ্রবেশ রোধ, নিয়ন্ত্রণ এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবারের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে প্রয়োজনীয় সতর্কতামূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের অনুরোধ জানানো হয়েছে।

• উপাচার্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী, কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলের সহযোগিতা চেয়েছেন।

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসে অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা রোধ এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে রাত ৯:০০ টা থেকে ভোর ৬:০০ টা পর্যন্ত সকল আবাসিক হলের পকেট গেইট বন্ধ থাকবে। ক্যাম্পাসের নিরাপত্তা জোরদার করার লক্ষ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ এই সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করেছে।

• হলের পরিবেশ ক্লাবের তত্ত্বাবধানে হলে শিক্ষার্থীদের ভবনের শৌচাগার, রান্নাঘর, বারান্দা, সিঁড়িতে পেস্ট কন্ট্রোল করার কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়। ঞ) হলে নিয়মিত মশক নিধন ও লার্ভা নিধন কীটনাশক স্প্রে করা এবং হলের বাগানের আগাছা ও বৃক্ষ যথাযথ নিয়মে ছাঁটাই কার্যক্রম অব্যাহত রয়েছে।

• ১৫। বাংলাদেশ-কুয়েত মৈত্রী হলের ছাত্রীদের জন্য উপাচার্য কর্তৃক প্রদানকৃত টেলিভিশন স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। হলের বিভিন্ন ব্লকের বাথরুম ও গোসলখানার বিভিন্ন সমস্যা সমাধান করা হয়েছে। হলের পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখার স্বার্থে পরিষ্কারক দ্রব্যাদি ক্রয় করা হয়েছে।

SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions)

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ (ডাকসু) ও হল সংসদ নির্বাচন-২০২৫ এর প্রস্তুতির অংশ হিসেবে রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তাগণ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠনের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেছেন। খ) সংগঠনগুলোর প্রতিনিধিরা বৈঠকে অংশগ্রহণ করে নির্বাচনী প্রস্তুতি, প্রশাসনিক সহযোগিতা, নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা এবং ভোটগ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়া সংক্রান্ত নানা বিষয়ে মতামত প্রদান করেন। তারা নির্বাচনের সুষ্ঠু ও শান্তিপূর্ণ পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করতে করণীয় বিষয়গুলো নিয়ে পরামর্শ প্রদান করেন। রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তাগণ তাদের সুপারিশসমূহ গুরুত্বসহকারে বিবেচনা করে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের আশ্বাস দেন।

•  ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ (ডাকসু) ও হল সংসদ নির্বাচন ২০২৫ উপলক্ষে গঠিত রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তাদের একটি বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।... বৈঠকে রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তারা ডাকসু নির্বাচনের প্রক্রিয়া সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন করার লক্ষ্যে বিভিন্ন অংশীজনের কাছ থেকে পাওয়া মতামত ও সুপারিশ পর্যালোচনা করেন। এসব পর্যালোচনার ভিত্তিতে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের কাছে একটি প্রস্তাবনা উপস্থাপন করার সিদ্ধান্ত গৃহীত হয়।

• ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ (ডাকসু) ও হল সংসদ নির্বাচন আগামী ৯ সেপ্টেম্বর অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে নির্বাচনের তফসিল ঘোষণা করেন প্রধান রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তা...।

SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)

•  ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও চীনের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মধ্যে চলমান যৌথ সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম আরও জোরদার এবং উভয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মধ্যে শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা সংক্রান্ত আরও যৌথ সহযোগিতামূলক কার্যক্রম গ্রহণের বিষয়ে উপাচার্যের সঙ্গে ঢাকাস্থ চীনা দূতাবাসের কালচারাল কাউন্সেলর মতবিনিময় করেছেন।

• শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রমের উৎকর্ষ সাধনে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধি এবং যৌথ সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনার ব্যাপারে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য এবং বাংলাদেশ মেরিটাইম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্যের মধ্যে বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

•  ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও পাকিস্তানের বিভিন্ন উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে যৌথ শিক্ষা ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম সম্প্রসারণের বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত পাকিস্তানের ডেপুটি হাই কমিশনারের সঙ্গে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রো-ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর (শিক্ষা)-এর আলোচনা হয়েছে।

•  জাপানের রিক্কিও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সহ জাপানের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সঙ্গে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চলমান যৌথ সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষা এবং গবেষণা কার্যক্রম আরও জোরদার করার ব্যাপারে রিক্কিও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক ড. নাওনোরি কুসাকাবে এবং ঢাকাস্থ জাপান দূতাবাসের রাজনৈতিক শাখার উপদেষ্টা সোনে কেইতা’র সঙ্গে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্যের আলোচনা হয়েছে।

• সংলাপ ও কৌশলগত পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণের মাধ্যমে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের মধ্যে চলমান যৌথ সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষা কর্মসূচি জোরদার করাসহ বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে বৃটিশ কাউন্সিলের কান্ট্রি ডিরেক্টর এবং ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্যের মধ্যে আলোচনা হয়েছে।
