Participation in Government Research (Year: 2024)

The University of Dhaka actively undertakes policy‑focused research in collaboration with government departments, contributing analytical evidence, co‑produced reports, and data‑driven insights to inform national policy formulation.

Example of collaborative research:

  • The University’s Bureau of Economic Research (BER) undertakes research projects aimed at national policy and social problems, often in partnership with government agencies. Professor Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, Dept. of Economics, DU has completed her research on The Dynamics of Climate Variability, Occupational Diversification and Household Welfare: Insights from Rural Bangladesh.
