• Stormwater drainage improvement: Partial repair and cleaning of campus drainlines and pond-connection channels.
• Rainwater harvesting requirements: New DU building guidelines include mandatory rainwater reuse provisions.
• Awareness initiatives: Students and staff were encouraged to reduce water waste through campus campaigns.

2. Future Plan (2025–2030)

• Establish a central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for halls, labs, offices, and academic buildings.
• Greywater recycling systems in individual buildings for landscape and non-potable reuse.
• Mandatory rainwater harvesting in all new construction projects.
• Campus-wide drainage & pond mapping to connect ponds and the future WWTP.
• Annual waterbody maintenance for 2–3 ponds every year.
