To ensure gender equity in remuneration, the University of Dhaka monitors salary distribution and gender representation in all regular and permanent positions.

Monitoring Mechanism

  • Annual HR Payroll Analytics: HR collects and analyses salary data by gender, grade, and responsibility.
  • Gender Pay Audit Cycle:

         Data Collection Analysis Gap Detection Rectification Reporting (APA)

    1. Data Collection – Gather salary and position data for all employees.
    2. Analysis – Compare salaries for equivalent roles across genders.
    3. Gap Detection – Identify any disparities or anomalies.
    4. Rectification – Implement corrective measures to address unjustified gaps.
    5. Reporting (APA) – Prepare reports documenting findings and actions taken.
