The University of Dhaka ensures wide public access to its museums, galleries, open-air exhibitions, and cultural spaces spread throughout the campus. These places serve as vital centers for art, heritage, and civic engagement, welcoming visitors, students, alumni, and the general public.

The University also opens science labs, courtyards, Senate forecourt and playgrounds as exhibition venues for research fairs, student projects and public demonstrations on University Day and other special occasions.

During major national and cultural occasions such as the Ekushey Book Fair and Pahela Baishakh, the entire TSC area and surrounding spacestransform into vibrant exhibition zones where artists, students, and organizations display creative works and cultural artifacts. The University’s open-air art and sculpture sites—such as Aparajeyo Bangla, Raju Memorial Sculpture, SwoparjitoSwadhinata, Shahid Minar, Doel Chattar, VC Chattar, and the sculpture zone near the Faculty of Fine Arts—offer constant public access. The terracotta murals along the Faculty of Arts building depict the history of Bangladesh’s Liberation War, while nearby installations commemorate the intellectual martyrs, creating an open gallery of national heritage.
